helping female founders feel seen.

ghostwriting services for busy female founders.

Studio Juno’s founder Steph Wanless is a writer, editor and publisher with 20+ years’ experience under her belt. She’s obsessed with words, helping women find their voice, and cats. She chose the name ‘Juno’ for two reasons.

  1. Goddess Juno is the ancient Roman queen of the gods and the protector of women. She embodies feminine power and strength. #goals

  2. Juno represents relationship and self-expression, freedom, equality, intimacy and sharing; mutual trust and understanding and creating new forms of relationship. Juno is that degree of sensitivity and awareness we bring to the other person.

That right there is what Studio Juno delivers to every female founder – a safe space built on trust and understanding where you feel the freedom to express your true, authentic voice. From your founder story to speeches, opinion pieces to brand messaging, Steph captures your words with care, precision and a deep sensitivity, enabling female founders to speak their truth louder. The result? Words that move every crowded room. Words that rise above the AI slop. Words that break glass ceilings. Words that make you feel seen.

steph’s story…

I grew up in the kind of cul-de-sac that was bloody perfect for BMX riding. My walkman was my most prized possession, along with my hypercolour t-shirt... yep, I was a child of the 80s in a regional Aussie town called Armidale. Fast forward to my late teens, when I obsessively memorised HSC essays to get the magical UAI number needed to study journalism at Newcastle University. Thankfully, I got it, and had the permanent ink stain on my left hand to prove it.

A move to the big smoke swiftly followed, where I spent the next 20 years working in the Australian media industry, including roles with Fairfax Digital and custom publisher Mahlab. But, as it turns out, the regional way of life soon beckoned me home with my babes in tow – you know, so we had space to breathe, an affordable house, grandparents nearby. The dream.

Soon after, I launched FOUND Regional, a 100-page, quarterly print publication that grew a readership of 80,000 in its three-year lifespan and has 10 glorious issues to its name. In year one, it was shortlisted for Publication of the Year at the Mumbrella Publish Awards 2023 and the issue four cover story I wrote was shortlisted for Single Article of the Year.

By the end of 2024, FOUND Regional’s digital counterpart REGGIE was born. Short for ‘regional’, REGGIE is your bezzie mate, the one who knows where to eat, drink, stay and play in the New England North West.

These days, my priority (aside from my kids, my cats and my favourite man friend) is helping female founders share their stories. Why? Because women can’t be what they can’t see – and the louder female entrepreneurs speak, the better the next generation will hear them roar.

  • Hester Fraser, Musician

“Steph Wanless was a delight to work with and I enjoyed my interview with her immensely. She asked interesting and insightful questions, giving lots of space for comprehensive answers while maintaining direction for the article with masterful skill. She took care over details, giving me the opportunity to review her work to ensure accuracy, and at all times respecting the ways in which my words and character were interpreted and represented. As someone who has been selectively quoted and misrepresented in print media before, I am grateful to Steph for the safe space she created for my interview, and I felt honoured and seen throughout the process. The end result was beautifully written and formatted – a testament to the high quality of journalism Steph has set as her bench mark, and the skills and experience she brings to the table in her field.”

Her approach makes for authentic articles and she is dedicated to making sure that you are happy with the results – which I was.”
